Sunday Evening

Communion Service with Organ at 5 p.m at the Seabury-Western Seminary chapel of St. John  the Divine, located on Northwestern's campus at 2122 Sheridan (please enter on Haven St.).  Free, filling and delicious dinner served after worship at the Canterbury Northwestern House (2010 Orrington Ave.)  Come join us!
 

Wednesday Evening

Dinner and Fishbowl.  A full course dinner starts at 6, come have a good meal with students who will become  your friends.  Then, if  you can, stay for our Lectionary-based bible study, affectionately known as "Fishbowl."  We read the upcoming lessons for Sunday and delve deep into the historical context, original meanings, past and present commentaries and how the scripture fits or doesn't fit our lives today.

Wednesday Late Night Worship

On Wednesday nights we join our friends down the street for Late night worship at University Lutheran Church.  Join us for Fishbowl and walk to worship with us, or meet us there at 10 p.m. at 2204 Orrington Avenue.  


Weekday Evenings:

During the week the house is open on some days from 5 to 9.  Students gather to study in our library, to pray in  our small chapel or to hang in the living lounge.  Most evenings end with Compline at 9 -- compline is a short worship service that is a great way to end our time together.  We also gather for special events; holidays, football games, movie nights, game night and late night feasts.
